Does the White Stripes count as Post-Punk?
I'm not sure about this one.

The guitar riffs are too complex for pop, though their songs sound pop-ish.

I was under the distinct impression that they fell into the garage punk genre, at least early on. Sometimes I find them bluesy, but that might just be me. I haven't heard their new stuff, after all.

they are more of a blues type band now, even the own band memebers say tht they are now a blues type band.
